Dedicated to the sovereignty of Canada in a time when Globalization seeks to make nations subservient to corporations.

The European Union started with trade agreements. Trade agreements are used to subvert our national sovereignty. One good example of this is Chapter 11 of NAFTA which allows corporations to sue the Canadian government. With NAFTA Corporations gained the ability to sue our government if our government enacted legislation that affected a corporations ability to make a profit. How is this in the best interest of the average person?

Bill C-2 Free Trade Agreement with the European Free Trade Association. Entered into Parliament January 28th 2009 and passed by the Senate April 28, 2009 comes into force July 1st, 2009. Were you consulted? A free trade agreement entered into Parliament and passed all legislative steps to be enacted in less than seven months.

Bill C-23 Free Trade Agreement with Columbia and Bill C-24 Free Trade Agreement with Peru are before Parliament at the moment. Our government does not consult with us prior to entering into these agreements. People have started to react negatively to this and gathered in from of the Security and Prosperity Partnership meeting in Montebello, Quebec. The police used Agents Provocateurs in an attempt to incite violence. Not only is our government secretive about the agreements, the government of Canada has demonstrated that they are willing to use dirty tricks to discredit those that oppose the agreements.
